My buddy Mike's father was admitted to Fairfax Hospital yesterday after suffering severe chest pains. Mike and I spent several hours at the hospital yesterday evening, and we'll be going back there today. His dad is in the cardiac telemetry wing, undergoing a battery of tests. As of last night, his chest and head were both hurting, which left us worried when we left the hospital. It appears, though, that his condition is now stable, and that his fibrillation has stopped as of this morning. Preliminary testing seems to indicate that the incident was not a heart attack, but we're still looking for an official diagnosis.
Please keep Mike's dad in your thoughts.
